At St. Catherine’s, we encourage our learners to be digitally literate and to ensure they have the best possible chance of thriving in our ever changing technologically dependent world. Our diverse computing curriculum aims to equip children with the necessary skills to contribute to a rapidly changing world where technology is an ever more pertinent aspect of our everyday lives. We focus on developing the skills necessary for children to be able to use information in an effective way, enabling children to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information. Computing skills are a major factor in supporting children to be confident, creative and independent learners and it is our intention that children have every opportunity available to allow them to achieve the national curriculum objectives for their key stage.
