Children's Mental Health Week
Fri 10 Feb 2023The focus for Children's Mental Health Week this year has been 'Let's Connect'. The aim has been to look at making meaningful connections with others and how this connection is vital for our wellbeing.
Within school our 'Heart Smart' lessons this week have followed this theme and the children have taken part in various activities to enable them to connect with and think of others.
Some examples of the activities the children have taken part in are:
Year 1 and Reception have shared an afternoon together getting to know each other.
Year 2 have made paperchains to help them think about what makes them feel connected to people and the things they care about.
Year 3 have decorated puzzle pieces to connect together and make a whole picture.
Please look at the following website for further information - https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/
