Your child's secondary school should have also sent through some more specific resources to support with this change.

Starting Well Year 6 transition Presentation by Wyre Forest Nursing Team

Wyre Forest School Health Nursing team has put together a 15 minute presentation for Year 6 pupils who are moving to High School.

This survey is for you to complete to see how helpful you thought the video was. This is to help the Wyre Forest NHS Trust see whether this is something that can be offered in the future. It also allows you to feedback things that were good and things that could be improved.

Speech and Language Transition Sessions

These sessions have been designed by the NHS Speech and Language Therapy service to support children with the transition from primary to secondary school. They are designed to be delivered in small groups but can be easily adapted for individual support.

Please have a look through the resources and feel free to use anything which you feel will support your child. They include a wide variety of scenarios, worries and activities which may help with understanding or anxieties.
