  • Ofsed report

    Wed 02 Sep 2026

Please read the statement below for Mrs Cope.

We are absolutely delighted with the findings of our latest Ofsted report, which reflects the incredible hard work, dedication, and heart that our staff, children, governors, and families pour into St Catherine’s every day. The inspectors recognised what we see in our corridors every morning: polite, enthusiastic, and respectful children who take pride in their learning and care for one another. They praised our ambitious curriculum, our strong focus on reading and personal development, and the clear values that underpin everything we do as a Church of England school. I want to extend my thanks to our entire school community. This result is a true team effort. While we are immensely proud of this report, our journey of excellence never stops. We remain committed to continuing to build on our strengths, ensuring every child at St Catherine’s receives the very best start in life.

Tesco's kindly donated some fruit for our children to try when they dropped off the prizes for the selected winners in our school. Well done to those children!
