  • Well done Miss Wheeler!

    Mon 27 Apr 2026

We are so proud of Miss Wheeler's awesome acheivement of completing the London Marathon.

  • Good luck to Miss Wheeler

    Fri 24 Apr 2026

Good luck to Miss Wheeler as she takes part in the TCS London Marathon this weekend.

She has been training hard and we really wish her all the best as she undertakes such a challenge.

She is fundraising for the charity Therapies Unite.

    Why Therapies Unite?

Therapies Unite is a small UK based charity founded by our friend in Worcester, Laura Brown De Rodriguez. The charity is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults in Mexico with disabilities by providing access to essential therapy and rehabilitation services. With no National Health Service, the lack of disability services/support often leads to terrible consequences for the individual and their family. Laura and her team are doing inspirational work which helps fund life-changing projects, equipment, and training for therapists working in communities where resources are limited.

Go for it Miss Wheeler. We are behind you every step!

  • A busy term ahead

    Fri 17 Apr 2026

We are at the end of the first week back after the Easter holidays already!

Have a read of the April Newsletter for details of everything coming up this term.

Year 4 and 5 pupils have been taking part in Bikeability this week. What a great way for them to learn practical skills and understand how to cycle on today's roads.

Next week there will be a focus on the NSPCC’s Speak out, Stay safe programme. Speak out Stay safe is an online safeguarding programme for children aged 5 – 11 years old.

Children are invited to come to school in non-uniform on Monday in exchange for a small donation to NSPCC. Donations can be made via the parent pay app.

    Thank you for your support.

  • Happy Easter

    Fri 27 Mar 2026

As we come to the end of a busy spring term, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Easter.

This term has been filled with so many successes, and it has been a real joy to see the children continue to grow in confidence, resilience, and enthusiasm for their learning. From the excellent progress in classrooms to the many enrichment opportunities and special events, the children have shown just how capable and committed they are. Highlights this term have included the whole-school iSingPop workshop, the inspiring Young Voices concert, and our Easter services in church, which were a wonderful way to reflect together.

We are particularly proud of the way our pupils have demonstrated our school values in action—supporting one another and striving to do their very best each day. These achievements are only possible through the strong partnership we share with you as families, and we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support.

We also hope that you found this term’s parent meetings helpful and informative.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the summer term on Monday 13th April, refreshed and ready for the exciting opportunities ahead.

Wishing you all a restful and joyful Easter break.

    Mrs Cope

  • Easter is approaching

    Fri 20 Mar 2026

We are sure everyone is looking forward to the Easter Holidays.

We have been so impressed by the creativity shown by our wonderful pupils with their entries for our Easter Egg Competition. This year's theme is Teamwork and we can see everyone has thought really hard to illustrate what working together means to them.

Reverend Laura will be judging the entries on Thursday 26th March.

See below for some of the entries so far. They really are great work.

The deadline has been extended if anyone does wish to get creative over the weekend and bring an entry in next week.

We will have our Easter Church Services at St Barnabas on Thursday 26th March and all the pupils will walk to and from the church to take part in these.

Thank you for your support with our recent non-uniform days.

The PTA have created lots of hampers with your donations ready for the Easter Raffle. Don't forget to get your raffle tickets from Class List.

We will finish for the Easter Holidays on Friday 27th March.

What a busy few weeks we have had recently.

We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. Pupils and staff dressed as their chosen word and there were some fabulous outfits and creations. Well done everyone. It was a really exciting and colourful day in school.

The PTA ran their Willy Wonka chocolate bar sale and the Golden Ticket winners have chosen their prizes.

Our Book Fair is running after school from Tuesday 10th March - Monday 16th March. Please come and have a look at the books for sale. World Book Day vouchers can be used at the fair.

This week Year 6 have visited Worcester Cathedral. They explored the cathedral and took part in some enriching activities. What a great learning experience for them.

Tomorrow (Friday 13th March)  is a non-uniform day as part of the PTA's fundraising. Children are asked to bring in a chocolate item -  Easter Egg, Chocolate bar etc for the Easter hampers. Raffle tickets can be purchased through Classlist.

Don't forget our Easter Egg competition this year is on the theme of TEAMWORK.

  • Young Voices Concert

    Fri 27 Feb 2026

We were thrilled that our Young Voices Choir have finally taken part in the event at the bp pulse LIVE arena in Birmingham.

After months of rehearsals & the postponement of the first concert due to the snow it was great for the children to experience this amazing event yesterday.

Mr Mottershead and Mrs Wharton thought you all sounded amazing and were really proud of you all.

    Well done everyone.

  • Have a restful February half term

    Fri 13 Feb 2026
  • Children's Mental Health Week

    Mon 09 Feb 2026

This morning in our worship time we have focused on talking about our feelings and how we have a sense of belonging as part of Children's Mental Health Week.

When we feel like we belong, we feel happy, safe, and ready to learn and play. It helps us grow strong in our minds and bodies, and it makes it easier to make friends, do well in school, and feel good about ourselves.

Children have looked at how to help others and themselves feel like they belong.

"Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody"

    Our prayer today:

    Dear God,

Please help us to feel loved and accept ourselves for who we are. Please guide us to remember that we all have a place where we are accepted, cared for, and loved. Thank you for our friends, family, school and community. Please give us the wisdom to connect with others if we are feeling sad or worried and help us to remember that we are never alone.
    Amen.
