Opening Times

The school gates will be open at 8.20am each morning

The school entrance will be supervised by a member of the senior staff from 8:40am. We ask parents of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils to wait with their children until their child is safely in school – thank you.

The first school bell rings at 8:40am and children are asked to be at their classrooms doors at this time. 

Children can enter classrooms for registration at 8.45am (when the second bell rings) Teachers will be present to supervise children and start the registration process.

The school day begins at 8:45am. Anyone arriving after 8:45am will need to enter school via the front office and will be recorded as late in the register.

It is essential that all children arrive at school on time, to ensure that all lessons get started promptly. Children arriving late for school disrupt lessons which impacts on their own and others’ learning – PLEASE make sure your child is here on time, for the benefit of all children.

The school gate opens at 3.00pm to allow parents to make their way to their child's classroom

The school day finishes at the below times

*  Reception - 3.05pm

*  Y1 and Y2 - 3.10pm

*  Y3 - Y6 -  3.15pm

. All children will need to be collected at these times, unless they are participating in after-school clubs.
