Happy Easter
Fri 27 Mar 2026As we come to the end of a busy spring term, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Easter.
This term has been filled with so many successes, and it has been a real joy to see the children continue to grow in confidence, resilience, and enthusiasm for their learning. From the excellent progress in classrooms to the many enrichment opportunities and special events, the children have shown just how capable and committed they are. Highlights this term have included the whole-school iSingPop workshop, the inspiring Young Voices concert, and our Easter services in church, which were a wonderful way to reflect together.
We are particularly proud of the way our pupils have demonstrated our school values in action—supporting one another and striving to do their very best each day. These achievements are only possible through the strong partnership we share with you as families, and we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support.
We also hope that you found this term’s parent meetings helpful and informative.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the summer term on Monday 13th April, refreshed and ready for the exciting opportunities ahead.
Wishing you all a restful and joyful Easter break.
Mrs Cope

Children's Mental Health Week
Mon 09 Feb 2026This morning in our worship time we have focused on talking about our feelings and how we have a sense of belonging as part of Children's Mental Health Week.
When we feel like we belong, we feel happy, safe, and ready to learn and play. It helps us grow strong in our minds and bodies, and it makes it easier to make friends, do well in school, and feel good about ourselves.
Children have looked at how to help others and themselves feel like they belong.
"Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody"
Our prayer today:
Dear God,
Please help us to feel loved and accept ourselves for who we are. Please guide us to remember that we all have a place where we are accepted, cared for, and loved. Thank you for our friends, family, school and community. Please give us the wisdom to connect with others if we are feeling sad or worried and help us to remember that we are never alone.
Amen. -

Happy Christmas to all our families.
Thu 18 Dec 2025Dear Families,
As we come to the end of the term, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you so much for your continued support throughout this term.
The Christmas festivities have been wonderful, with so many family members and friends joining us to watch the Christmas performances. The children have truly done us proud, and we are so pleased with the effort, enthusiasm and energy they put into everything they do.
Rev Laura was full of praise for both our children and staff at this week’s Christmas service, which was lovely to hear. We were also delighted this term to receive such a positive SIAMS inspection report — a real testament to the hard work and commitment of our whole school community.
Please join us in thanking all of our school staff for their dedication and hard work throughout the term.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a peaceful, restful and happy holiday.
Kindest regards,
Amanda Cope
