• Wyre Forest Swimming Gala

  We are thrilled to report that the 13 children that represented St Catherine's at the Swimming Gala all swam amazingly well this afternoon.

  As a team they came first at the afternoon gala and were placed sixth overall.

  Well done to all our fantastic swimmers. We are very proud of all that you achieved.

• Children's Mental Health Week

  Next week is Children's Mental Health Week and the focus this year is on the theme of Know Yourself, Grow Yourself. There will be lots of activities taking place in school encouraging our children to express their emotions.

  

• NSPCC Non-uniform day

  Fri 24 Jan 2025

  On Monday 10th February we will be participating in the NSPCC’s Speak out, Stay safe programme.

  Speak out Stay safe is an online safeguarding programme for children aged 5- to 11-years-old.

  Children are invited to come to school in non-uniform on this day in exchange for a small donation to NSPCC.

  Donations can be made via parent pay.

  Today nine of our key stage 1 pupils took part in a Celebration of Inclusive Sport Event held at Baxter College by The Wyre Forest School Sport Partnership.

  Well done to those pupils who took part Miss Hill was really pleased with your effort and achievements. Thank you for representing our school so well.

   

  Over the next two weeks our Key Stage Two children will visit Kidderminster Library to explore what resources are on offer there and our Year Three pupils will take part in creative activities at Kidderminster Baptist Church.
