  • St Catherine's Arts Days

    Fri 22 May 2026

We have finished this half term with our Arts Days. Each year group have focused on a different British Value and there has been some wonderful creative work happening around school.

The PTA organised the Colourful Run on Thursday afternoon and a huge well done to all our pupils for their outstanding effort as they ran around the rugby club in the sunshine.

We will return to school after the half term break on Monday 1st June and look forward to all the planned events for the last half of the Summer term.

  • Coming up

    Fri 08 May 2026

There are lots of exciting things coming up at St Catherine's over the rest of the Summer Term.

We are sure everyone is looking forward to the activities, trips and events coming up in the next few months.

Please see below details of some of these.

We are eagerly awaiting the return of our Year 4 children from their Residential Trip to Blackwell Adventure in Bromsgrove. We are so pleased the weather has been kind for them to enjoy all of their activities.

The year 4 children who remained in school have been busy with various projects, including making crispie cakes, creating viking long boats and a sewing project. Well done to all of them for taking part in these.

This week our year 5 pupils have completed Anti-Bullying Ambassador training, led by the Diana Award, and were joined by pupils from our cluster schools who also took part. It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop their leadership skills and promote kindness across the school.

We will see you all on Tuesday 5th May ready for the remaining 3 weeks of this half term.

Our year 4 children have their Residential trip to Blackwell Adventure from Wednesday 6th - Friday 8th May and we look forward to hearing about all the exciting activities.

Don't forget to have a look at the Class Pages for your children for the most recent Curriculum Newsletter to find out what the focus for learning is this half term.

Sponsor forms for the Colourful Fun Run should have come home this week.
