• Odd Socks Day

  This week is Anti-Bullying Week and to mark the start of this we are all wearing odd socks for Odd Socks Day. It's a great way to celebrate what makes us all unique. We love seeing the combinations of socks everyone has chosen to wear. 

  The Heartsmart lessons in school will focus on the message that together, we can make a difference and take a stand against bullying.

   

  There was much excitement in school last week as all classes took part in an event with Sports for Schools. We welcomed Will Bjergfelt, a para-cycling athlete and whilst in school he led a sponsored fitness circuit session with each class. Thank you all for you amazing support with this. 

   

   

  

• Half Term

  We hope all the children have enjoyed the performance of Beauty and the Beast this afternoon.

  On behalf of the PTA we would like to thank you all for your amazing donations for the Rainbow Raffle. The hampers have been put together this afternoon and look magnificent.

  Raffle tickets will come home with the children next week.

   

  Please see our letters page for a letter from Franche Community Church and the Wyre Forest Food Bank. We were overwelmed by your generosity with harvest donations for the food bank. Sam collected two full car loads. The beautiful cards created at the craft sessions will be distributed with the Food Bank boxes. We hope you all enjoyed attending these events.

  Thank you so much for your support with our Fundraising for the Midlands Air Ambulance. We raised £486.00 for the charity.

  We had a really informative assembly from the Air Ambulance Team on the day.

   

  

• Harvest Craft Events

  We are really looking forward to seeing you for our Harvest Craft Events starting from Wednesday next week. Please see the dates below.

  The events will be held in the school hall between 9.00am - 9.45am. 

  The Harvest cards made will go to the Wyre Forest Food Bank.

  These cards will be distributed with food boxes throughout October 2023. 

  You are invited to bring donations for the Food Bank with you to the event.

• Clothing Collection update

  Thank you all so much for your support.

  The clothing bags were collected and weighed today and we have raised an amazing £191.35.

  

• This week in school

  Thank you all for your support with our fundraising for the Midlands Air Ambulance today.

  We have raised £390 so far.

  The children all watched a presentation from the Midlands Air Ambulance Team in assembly this morning. We hope they can share with you what they have learnt.

   

  Year 3 have walked to the Co-op today as part of their DT topic.

   

  Please see below the poster for our Harvest Class Craft Events taking place in October. We look forward to see you then.

   

  Just a reminder that we have our clothing collection on Wednesday 27th September. Bags can be left outside the DT room on Tuesday after 4.30pm or on Wednesday morning before school.
