  • Remembrance poppies

    Fri 11 Nov 2022

We wanted the share a photo of all the beautiful poppies the children have made.

They were invited to use recycled materials to create a poppy at home to show support for Remembrance Day.

We have been overwelmed by their creativity. Each poppy created is so unique and has been a lovely way for our children to mark this very important day.

The poppies have been on display in the library area all week and were a central part of our Remembrance assembly held today.

    Well done everyone.

  • World Mental Health Day - Monday 10th October

    Tue 11 Oct 2022

All classes took part in activities yesterday promoting good mental health and wellbeing.

We looked at the five ways to wellbeing and the simple things that we can all do to
improve our emotional health and wellbeing.

There were many activities through the day. Classes joined with a partner class to complete activities together to connect and take notice. The children got active and took part in a run or walk around the school with their classmates. It was a busy day.

We hope the children enjoyed the day and that they have an understanding of ways to improve their wellbeing.

Our Harvest Festivals are due to take place in October.

Parents are invited to join us in school for Harvest.

The festivities will be held in the school hall at 9am – 9.30am on the following dates: Tuesday 11th October 2022 – Years 5 & 6

    Wednesday 12th October 2022 – Years 1 & 2

    Thursday 13th October 2022 – Years 3 & 4

    Monday 17th October - Reception

Once again, following parent requests, we are committed to supporting a local charity with our harvest gifts. To this end, we will be collecting contributions of tinned and packaged food. The food supplies will be distributed in our local area, to those in most need. Please do not send any fresh produce as we are not able to get the food distributed quickly enough.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, we know the food we collect and distribute is greatly appreciated.

Please note that space will be limited at our Harvest Festivals, and so, only parents are invited to join us. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
