The Christmas Countdown has begun!

After school today the PTA have held their Christmas Movie Night.

Thank you to those families who supported this.

We are sure the children enjoyed watching their chosen films with their friends.

Rehearsals are well under way for the Christmas performances.

Year 6 - Carol Concert in the school hall	Wednesday 18^th December at 6.00pm – 7.00pm

Children In Need Update: the total now raised is £298.50.

What a busy week we have had.

Thank you so much for support for Remembrance Day on 11th November.

The poppies that our children created have been on display in the library area this week and were a lovely way to mark this very important day.

We are so pleased to be able to tell you that your support with the sale of poppies for the British Legion raised £403.45 and they were incredibly grateful for your donations.

Today we had a non-uniform day for Children In Need and we are sure all the children have enjoyed taking part in this. Some of them looked very warm in their pyjamas and onesies.

The total raised so far is £263.50.

Welcome Back

We hope everyone had a restful October half term.

We are looking forward the next half term as we prepare for Christmas.

Please see the November newsletter for all the up to date information.

The PTA's Rainbow raffle was drawn on Wednesday and winners have been notified.

Next week we will be marking Remembrance Day on Monday 11th November and our display of the poppies children have created as part of this are on display in the library.

We also have Odd Socks Day on Tuesday 12th Novemeber and are fundraising for Children In Need on Friday 15th November, details of this are below.

Autumn Half Term

We hope the children have enjoyed the whole school pantomine of Cinderella this afternoon. What a wonderful way to end a very busy half term.

We hope you all have a restful half term week.

We return to school on Monday 4th November.

Harvest Events

We look forward to seeing parents/carers for our Harvest events over the next two weeks.

Family members are invited to attend their child’s year group for a Harvest craft session, where the children will be making Harvest cards and crafts for the Wyre Forest food bank. These cards will be distributed with food boxes throughout October 2024. Parents/carers are invited to bring food donations to the craft sessions, your donations will be gratefully received and sent to the Wyre Forest food bank.

Clothing Collection

Please see below the amount raised from this fundraising activity.

Our next collection will be in March.

We will let you know that date closer to the time, to drop of your bags if you are able to donate towards this.

Clothing Collection

We have signed up to the Rags2riches4schools recycling scheme, to help others around the world benefit from our good quality unwanted clothes and shoes.

The school will receive 50p for every kilo we collect of reusable items towards our school fundraising and would be most grateful if you could help us with this.

Our collection day is Wednesday 25th September.
