Thank you for your amazing support with our school Book Fair
Thu 12 Mar 2020A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Book Fair.
This year saw record numbers of pupils and parents purchasing books and we took a substantial amount of money over the five day sale.
The sales have given us a total of £585.92 in commission to spend on books for the school library and classrooms, which is fantastic.
We really do appreciate all your support.

Football Report
Thu 13 Feb 2020Tuesday the 11th of February was a particularly bleak day with harsh freezing winds and sudden biting hailstorms. Not to let the vagaries of the British winter stand in their way, the plucky Year 6 boys' football team braved the conditions like lions and gave their all in a thrilling Midlands Under 11s regional heat tournament at Solihull Moors Damson Park Stadium.
The tournament proved stiff competition with our boys having to face five other teams all of whom were very strong indeed. After a shaky start, drawing their first match and losing the second, the team rallied round, pulled themselves up by their football boot laces and won their remaining three games most convincingly. After a nail-biting wait, they were announced as one of the two teams to face each other in the final face off - the other team being Solihull Moors - the only team to have defeated them in the qualifying rounds. Rising to the challenge of the final, the boys continued their steamrolling momentum and soon slotted in an early goal. Fuelled only by a handful of Haribos the team kept the pressure up with a frustrating number of near misses. Unfortunately, in the dying moments of the game, the opposition managed to scramble an equalizer into the St. Catherine's net. This meant the unfortunately lottery of penalties. After the first round of penalty-kicks both teams were still level. Despite a courageous team effort, Solihull Moors came out on top after further penalties. Despite the obvious disappointment of not ending up overall winners, the boys proudly accepted their runners up medal. We are all extremely proud of their achievement and the absolute and unerring teamwork displayed by these boys under such intense pressure. Well done boys! Mr Crump and Mr Worthington.
